Son misses Manchester United clash

We can confirm that Heung-Min Son will miss this afternoon's clash with Manchester United.

Our captain, who has played in each of our last 20 Premier League fixtures on the spin, was forced off in Thursday night's win over Qarabag after he went down and looked to be in discomfort.

In his press conference on Friday afternoon, Head Coach Ange Postecoglou said the forward would train on Saturday 'to give him every chance' of playing at Old Trafford before making a decision on whether or not he would make the squad.

However, it has now been confirmed that the Korea international will not play a part in the Premier League clash with United as he has not been named as part of the matchday squad.
