We can confirm the starting line-ups and substitutes for our 2024/25 Europa League opener against Qarabağ (kick-off 8pm UK).
Ange Postecoglou has made six changes to the starting side that beat Brentford in the Premier League last time out.
Our return to European competition after a season away sees a number of our starting XI make their debuts on this stage in Guglielmo Vicario, Archie Gray, Micky van de Ven, Lucas Bergvall and Brennan Johnson.
One enforced change sees Radu Dragusin come in for the suspended Cristian Romero – who is serving a one-match ban for his sending off against Milan in the Champions League in 2023 – with Ben Davies and Gray also coming into defence and Yves Bissouma back in midfield.
Amongst our substitutes, young forwards Mikey Moore and the returning Will Lankshear make their maiden matchday squad in Europe.
Our line-up is as follows…
Starting XI: Vicario; Gray, Dragusin, van de Ven, Davies; Bissouma, Sarr, Bergvall; Johnson, Solanke, Son (c).
Substitutes: Forster, Austin, Porro, Udogie, Bentancur, Maddison, Kulusevski, Moore, Werner, Lankshear.
