Team news | Spurs vs West Ham | Odobert nearing return

Thu 17 October 2024, 13:00|Tottenham Hotspur

Wilson Odobert is edging closer to a return and will "hopefully" be back in full training next week, revealed Ange Postecoglou.

A summer addition from Burnley, Wilson made an exciting start to life in Lilywhite with some eye-catching displays across his four appearances but has been out since sustaining a hamstring injury against Coventry City in the Carabao Cup on 18 September.

The 19-year-old winger said he was working hard on his recovery in his own progress update last week and our Head Coach has today (17 October) said he has progressed nicely and is hoping to have him back in training with the rest of the group next week.

"Really, it's only Wilson, who has done some good work in the last couple of weeks, and hopefully joins the main group at some point next week," revealed Ange on Thursday morning."

That news follows the positive update around fellow attackers Heung-Min Son and Richarlison who are both hopefully in contention to face West Ham United in the Premier League on Saturday (12.30pm UK).
