Robert Vilahamn has provided the latest team news ahead of our Barclays Women’s Super League fixture against Liverpool on Sunday afternoon at Brisbane Road (2.15pm UK).

Ella Morris, who missed our trip to Charlton Athletic on Wednesday evening after a small setback in her injury, has returned to the pitch for training but will be assessed ahead of Sunday’s clash against the Reds.

Although Amy James-Turner and Shuang Wang remain unavailable for this weekend, Robert acknowledged that ‘they are making good progress’ in their recovery.

Defender Luana Bühler played her first minutes of the season in our Women’s League Cup clash against Charlton, scoring her first goal for the Club in the 2-1 win, and she came through unscathed at The Valley.

Speaking to the media in his pre-match press conference on Thursday afternoon, Robert said: “Ella is back training on the pitch but continues to be monitored, so we will need to see if she’s available for the weekend. Luana had her first minutes and she has trained well today.

“The rest of the players who were out are still in the same phase, Shuang and Amy won’t be an option for this game, but they are making good steps on the grass, so it’s a matter of a few weeks I would say.”
