Team news from Palace | No new issues, but no players back for Glasner

Fri 25 October 2024, 16:30|Tottenham Hotspur

Oliver Glasner has the same squad available as he took to Forest on Monday as we prepare to meet his Palace side at Selhurst Park in the Premier League on Sunday (2pm UK).

That means midfielder Cheick Doucouré remains sidelined with a toe injury and it looks like Glasner will monitor the fitness and make a late call on England international Adam Wharton, who started on the bench in Palace's 1-0 loss at the City Ground.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday, Glasner explained: "The same squad is available as on Monday at Nottingham. There are no more injuries, but also nobody is coming back. Cheick Doucouré has had just one training session with us this week, but it will still take time, so it is the same squad."

Asked if Wharton may require surgery, Glasner replied: "We are discussing. When we make the final decision, we will inform everyone. At the moment, he will be with us for at least the next three games and then we will see what happens."
