Team news from City | Big six still missing for Wednesday night's clash?

Pep Guardiola wasn't giving too much away in terms of team news when he spoke to the media ahead of our Carabao Cup, fourth round tie at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday evening (8.15pm).

City were without six key players for their Premier League victory over Southampton on Saturday - newly-crowned ballon d'Or winner Rodri, Kevin de Bruyne, ex-Spur Kyle Walker, Jack Grealish, Jeremy Doku and Oscar Bobb.

Rodri is out for the season with a knee injury while Bobb hasn't featured since the Charity Shield in August. Guardiola stated before the weekend that he didn't know when de Bruyne would return and Walker hasn't featured for City since returning from international duty earlier this month, missing games against Wolves, Sparta Prague and Southampton.

Doku and Grealish both featured against Wolves on 20 October, but ahead of the Sparta Prague match last midweek, Guardiola stated on their fitness, 'hopefully Jack will be maybe one week, 10 days, Jeremy a little longer'.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday afternoon, Guardiola was asked how his squad was looking for our Carabao Cup clash. He said: “A few players. We are going to try and do a good game to try to go through. Always it happens. Last season we were out against Newcastle and we played really well. Perform well, this is what I want, no injuries please and go to the last week before the international break in November."
