Tue 15 October 2024, 10:45|Tottenham Hotspur

Jess Naz has been called up to Sarina Wiegman’s first England squad of the 2024/25 campaign.

The 24-year-old is in the squad for the Lionesses' fixture against Germany at Wembley Stadium on Friday 25 October (7.30pm UK) before they welcome South Africa to Coventry Building Society Arena four days later (7.45pm UK) as the two friendlies builds up preparations for next summer’s EURO 2025 finals in Switzerland.

Our number seven, who was promoted to her first senior squad back in May, 2024, made her England debut in July as a second half substitute in the 2-1 win over the Republic of Ireland at Norwich City’s Carrow Road.

A regular in Robert Vilahamn’s starting eleven so far this season, featuring in all five games, Jess has netted twice – in the season opener against Crystal Palace and Charlton Athletic in the Women’s League – while also providing the assist for Taylor Hinds’ own goal in our WSL clash with Liverpool.
