Mikey Moore became the youngest player in 31 years to start a Premier League game for the Club when he was named in the starting XI for Sunday's trip to Crystal Palace.

A product of our Academy, Mikey is enjoying his breakthrough season in Lilywhite having made seven appearances in all competitions to date thus far in 2024/25 and earned himself a bit of Spurs history when he was picked to start by Ange Postecoglou at Selhurst Park.

At the age of 17 years and 77 days, the attack-minded midfielder became the youngest player to start a top flight match for us since fellow Academy graduate Stephen Carr did back in September, 1993, when he started a game aged 17 and 28 days.

Back in May, Mikey became our youngest ever player in Premier League history when, at the age of 16 years, nine months and three days, he came on a substitute in our 2-0 defeat to Manchester City at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

His senior debut for the Club, he also took Legacy Number 883 that night.
