Matter of stats | Spurs vs West Ham | All eyes on Brennan...

Brennan Johnson has scored in six consecutive competitive matches for us - can he join a list of just two players to make it seven in a row when we face West Ham on Saturday?

The Wales forward opened up his six-shooting sequence with a late, late winner against Coventry in the Carabao Cup on 18 September and has followed up against Brentford, Qarabag, Manchester United, Ferencvaros and Brighton.

With the Hammers on the horizon, only two players have taken the next step to make it seven in a row - the deadly duo of Keith Burkinshaw's team, Steve Archibald (achieved in 1983/84) and Garth Crooks (1984/85).

James Maddison is also in fine form at the moment and the playmaker's next goal in the Premier League will be his 50th in the competition - he's scored two goals in his last three PL games (Brentford, Brighton) and no player has played more passes into the opposition's box in the PL this season than his 64.
