Matter of stats | Chelsea vs Spurs (WSL) | Our record in London derbies
Sat 19 October 2024, 10:00|Tottenham Hotspur
Sunday’s trip to Chelsea on Sunday (6.45pm UK) will be our second London derby of the campaign and we head to Kingsmeadow having won four of our last six London derbies in the Barclays Women’s Super League.
Our previous London derby was the visit of newly-promoted Crystal Palace in our WSL season opener as we ran out 4-0 winners at Brisbane Road, with Hayley Raso, Jess Naz, Drew Spence and Olga Ahtinen all on the scoresheet.
Last season saw us win three of our six London derbies in the league, including a double over West Ham United – 4-3 at Chigwell Construction Stadium and 3-0 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
But the most memorable victory was our historic win over Arsenal at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Martha Thomas’ second half strike saw us claim our first-ever three points over the Gunners in the WSL.
