First Orient clean sheet for Keeley

Wed 23 October 2024, 12:50|Tottenham Hotspur

Goalkeeper Josh Keeley kept his first clean sheet on his second league start for Leyton Orient on Tuesday night.

Our on-loan stopper was between the sticks for the London club’s 1-0 home victory over Rotherham United at Brisbane Road.

That came hot on the heels of his first appearance in League One, a narrow defeat by the same scoreline at Northampton Town on Saturday.

A Republic of Ireland Under-21 international, Josh previously shone against Premier League opposition when he made his debut for Orient in their 3-1 defeat at Brentford in the Carabao Cup last month.

Fellow loanee Jamie Donley featured as a second-half substitute against Northampton, but wasn’t involved on Tuesday night.

The forward has so far made 11 appearances for the O’s in all competitions, six from the start.
