Sun 20 October 2024, 17:45|Tottenham Hotspur
We can confirm the starting XI and substitutes for our Barclays Women’s Super League clash with Chelsea at Kingsmeadow (kick-off 6.45pm UK, live on Sky Sports).
Robert Vilahamn has made two changes from our last outing against Manchester United ahead of this evening’s London derby.
Amanda Nilden returns from injury to make the starting side in a huge boost to the squad, replacing Charlotte Grant who drops to the bench.
Matilda Vinberg comes in for her first start in the WSL as Martha Thomas moves to the bench, while Ella Morris is among the substitutes and could be in contention to make her competitive debut in our colours, with the defender returning from injury suffered in pre-season.
There’s also a special occasion for Under-21s player Jhanaie Pierre, who has recently returned from international duty with England Under-17s, as she is named in the WSL matchday squad for the first time in her career.
Spencer, Neville, Bartrip, Hunt, Nilden, Ahtinen, Summanen, Spence, Naz, England (c), Vinberg.
Substitutes: Talbert, Grant, Morris, Buhler, Csiki, Dennis, Gunning-Williams, Pierre, Thomas.
