Captain Davies leads Wales to victory and collects 90th cap

Ben Davies picked up his 90th cap as he skippered Wales to a 1-0 win over Montenegro in the UEFA Nations League on Monday night.

Captaining his nation for the 13th time in his career, Wales continued their strong form with Ben as their skipper - they haven't lost in their last 10 games when the defender has been wearing the armband.

Leading his countrymen out at the Cardiff City Stadium, Ben led the Brennan Johnson-less Dragons to a narrow victory over their eastern European opponents thanks to a Harry Wilson penalty on 36 minutes.

With three more points on the board, it put breathing space between Wales and Iceland after Friday's frustrating 2-2 draw in Reykjavik, where the Welsh had led 2-0.

Wales sit second in League B Group 4, with Turkey sitting in top spot with a two-point lead.
