Brighton vs Spurs | Form guide - Brighton's start and record at the Amex

Sat 05 October 2024, 13:05|Tottenham Hotspur

Brighton's unbeaten start to the 2024/25 Premier League campaign came unstuck at Stamford Bridge last weekend.

Travelling to SW6 with two wins and three draws in their opening five matches - including a win against United and draw against Arsenal at the Emirates - Brighton actually opened the scoring through Georginio Rutter on seven minutes but were then 3-1 down when Carlos Baleba pulled a goal back. Cole Palmer added his and Chelsea's fourth before the break and that's how it stayed - Brighton with more possession as it ended 15-15 in efforts at goal.

Brighton remain unbeaten at the Amex this term with that win against United and draws against Ipswich and Forest - last enjoying a longer run without defeat on home soil at the start of a league campaign in the Championship in 2015/16 (10 matches). They've also beaten Crawley (4-0) and Wolves (3-2) at home in the Carabao Cup.
