Mikey Moore has lifted the HSBC Player of the Match award – as voted for by our supporters on the Spurs Official app – after Thursday night’s 2-1 Europa League win at Ferencvaros.
The 17-year-old Academy product has already endeared himself to fans with some dazzling displays in the younger age groups in recent seasons.
After a handful of substitute appearances in the Premier League, plus an impressive pre-season campaign, Mikey came in for his first senior competitive start as we took on the Hungarian champions in Budapest.
He completed the full match, with his performance described by Ange Postecoglou as “outstanding” in the Head Coach’s post-match interview on SPURSPLAY.
