Micky van de Ven is set to be out for a number of weeks after the hamstring injury he sustained against Manchester City on Wednesday.
The Dutch international was forced off early in the first half of our Carabao Cup fourth round victory last time out, and our Head Coach confirmed after the cup tie that the defender 'felt something' in his hamstring.
Almost exactly one year on from the hamstring injury he sustained against Chelsea that ruled him out for over two months last term, Micky is set for a spell out but Ange has eased concerns about the extent of the injury and revealed he's likely to be sidelined until after the November international break.
That means the centre-back looks set to miss consecutive Premier League home games against Aston Villa and Ipswich Town and the trip to Galatasary in the Europa League this month.
"Micky has sort of strained a hamstring," said Ange, speaking in his pre-Aston Villa press conference on Friday (1 November). "It's not too serious but we're probably looking at after the international break."
