The Club will show its support for our Official Charity Partner Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice during Saturday’s Barclays Women's Super League north London derby match against Arsenal.
Two children supported by Noah’s Ark will be walking out with the team as mascots on the day. These include Hamza, 10. Hamza’s sister Gulirem, aged 14, has a range of conditions including Epilepsy and Microcephaly. Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice has been supporting the family since 2012 and provide a range of support from music therapy and family days to home support volunteers.
Also in attendance will be Frankie, 11. Frankie’s sister Sienna, aged 9, has Krabbe disease, a rare metabolic disorder, and has been supported by Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice since 2017. The entire family access a wide range of services from play groups and family days to sibling activities and creative therapies.
Please give both Hamza and Frankie a huge show of support as they enter the pitch.
Noah's Ark Children's Hospice supports babies, children, and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, and their families, in North and Central London – helping them to make the most of every day.
Our partnership aims to raise awareness of the charity’s work and drive recruitment of volunteers to enhance the services Noah’s Ark has provided to families across Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, Islington and Hertsmere.
Fans attending the match on Saturday will have the opportunity to support Noah’s Ark’s incredible work by donating via volunteer fundraisers located around the stadium and at the Tottenham Experience.
Other activity will include Noah’s Ark’s own character mascot ‘Rory’ joining Chirpy and Lily’s pre-match routine, while fans will also be able to learn more about Noah’s Ark’s work during the half-time interval via an interview with Chief Executive Sophie Andrews OBE, as well one of the families supported by the charity’s work.
Last month, Bethany England and Hayley Raso visited the charity, where they were led by Sophie in a tour of its dedicated hospice building – The Ark - which the Club helped raise funds to build as part of its long-term partnership.
Earlier this year, the Club dedicated our men’s north London derby match against Arsenal to Noah’s Ark.
