November/December international fixtures for our Women’s first team players

Tue 26 November 2024, 10:00|Tottenham Hotspur

We’re getting to the business end of qualification for next summer’s UEFA European Championship, with a number of our players set for potentially crucial matches with their nations over the next couple of weeks.

Finland, who named Olga Ahtinen and Eveliina Summanen in their squad, could book their place in the tournament but will come up against Martha Thomas' Scotland in the final round of play-off ties, while we will have representatives for Sweden (Matilda Vinberg and Amanda Nildén) as they face Serbia over two-legs for their spot in the finals in Switzerland.

Outside of the play-off fixtures, there are a number of international friendlies for several members of squad as Jess Naz and England scheduled to meet USA and Switzerland, Becky Spencer and Drew Spence for Jamaica will face South Africa in a double-header and Shuang Wang is back in the China national team fold after missing the last international break with an injury.

There’s plenty of action for our England youth internationals too, Ella Morris received her first call-up to the Under-23s squad in our colours, joining fellow Club team-mate Lenna Gunning-Williams, while Araya Dennis retained her place in the Under-19s squad for their three fixtures over next two weeks.
