Fri 22 November 2024, 10:00|Tottenham Hotspur

Appearing first and exclusively in this season’s official matchday programme, we get to know our Women Under-21s players.

Taking on the Q&A this time is midfielder Kendra Brown, who is a second-year player in our Under-21s squad having progressed through our academy set-up over the years.

We sat down with the youngster ahead of our WSL encounter with West Ham to find out a little more about her…

First started training with Spurs?

“I think it was around five years ago when I first came here, joining the Club at Under-14s level.”

Favourite food?

“I do like pasta with some tomato sauce.”

Any pets?

“I don’t have any pets, but I would really like a dog – maybe a cockapoo.”

Favourite TV show?

“It would have to be a series from Netflix called Manifest. I have just found it very interesting as I have watched through it, the storyline just keeps on going.”

Any hidden talents?

“I used to do kickboxing for quite a long time when I was growing up and did it alongside playing football. I got to like a brown belt in kickboxing but I got to that stage where I had to pick one of them and I chose football.”

Who do you like to watch in the first team and why?

“It would be Drew Spence because I like the way she moves the ball and can also be creative, but also her leadership on and off the pitch as well.”

If you could meet someone famous, who would it be?

“Neymar – I just think he’s so good, so I would love the opportunity to meet him one day.”

If you couldn’t be a footballer, what would you like to be instead?

“If I wasn’t playing football, then I would like to be a real estate agent but in America because the houses are so nice over there and also the weather is so much better.”

How would you sum up your character?

“I would say I’m quiet bubbly and talkative, I also think I’m an approachable person as well.”

How would you describe your playing style?

“I’m quite calm on the ball, always try to keep composure and I would always keep running.”
