Spurs vs Ipswich | How to watch, team news, kit colours, key information

Sat 09 November 2024, 17:40|Tottenham Hotspur

Our last match before the final international break of the year sees us back at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium once more to take on Ipswich Town on Sunday.

Led back into the top flight by our former player and Under-18s Coach Kieran McKenna, the Tractor Boys are looking for their first league win of the season, while we’re on the hunt for three more points to strengthen our challenge for the European qualifying spots.

Here’s all the key info you need to know...

What time is kick-off against Ipswich?

The match starts at 2pm UK time.

How can I watch the game?

Sunday’s match has not been selected for live television coverage in the UK.

However, the Match Centre here on tottenhamhotspur.com and the Spurs Official app brings you all the action as it happens with live text and audio commentary, stats, live photos and more, meaning you can keep fully up-to-date with everything as it happens.

You’ll be able to watch video highlights on SPURSPLAY from two hours after the final whistle, with a full match replay available on the same platform from midnight after the match.

What is the team news?

Of the players who missed Thursday’s trip to Galatasaray, only Cristian Romero has a chance to be fit for Sunday’s game.

That means Timo Werner, Mikey Moore, Richarlison, Micky van de Ven and Wilson Odobert remain sidelined.

Ipswich have no fresh injury concerns, meaning they’re still without Axel Tuanzebe, Jacob Greaves, Jack Taylor and Dara O’Shea.

Who is the referee?

Darren England is Sunday’s match referee, assisted by Simon Bennett and Neil Davies.

The fourth official will be Robert Jones.

VAR duties will be handled by John Brooks, along with assistant Mark Scholes.

What colours will the teams be playing in?

As usual, we’ll be wearing our 2024/25 home kit, featuring Lilywhite shirts with navy blue sleeves, navy blue shorts and white socks.

Ipswich will change to an all-pink strip.

Our goalkeeper will wear the second-choice purple keeper’s kit, with the visitors’ stopper in all yellow.

Spurs Remembers

The Club will be paying its respects to those that have lost their lives in armed conflict with a Remembrance service ahead of kick-off on Sunday.

As a Club that recognises and supports the welfare of animals, for the first time this year, we shall also be remembering animals lost in service, with a purple poppy wreath laid on the pitch, alongside a traditional red poppy wreath, by serving members of our Armed Forces Spurs Official Supporters’ Club.

Following the laying of the wreaths, we shall observe a period of silence, during which The Last Post will be played by retired Corporal Andrew Lofthouse, former Principal Trumpet of the Royal Air Force. This period of silence will start and end on the referee’s whistle – fans entering the stadium at this time may be restricted from accessing the seating area while the silence is in progress.

Find out more about this and the special-edition Poppy shirts we’ll be wearing for the game here.

What will the weather conditions be like?

It’ll remain dry and bright in north London on Sunday. Sunny intervals are expected, but it’ll be chilly. Temperatures should be at around 11 degrees.

How can I get the matchday programme and what’s included?

Although he’s unfortunately not available for the game on Sunday, young attacking midfielder Mikey Moore stars on the front cover of our matchday programme for the first time. He’s the subject of our main feature interview inside, while there’s also Ange Postecoglou’s exclusive column and a whole lot more. Available at the usual £4, copies can be purchased around the stadium on Sunday or online here for delivery direct to your door.

What is the travel information if I’m going to the game?
