Sarr claims October Goal of the Month award

Pape Matar Sarr has taken the Goal of the Month award for October in recognition of stunning strike against Manchester City.
Coming in our Carabao Cup fourth round triumph over City, the strike from 25 yards turned out to be the match-winner as we progressed through the the quarter-finals of the competition.
With us already 1-0 ahead against the Citizens thanks to Timo Werner's early opener, Pape bagged his third of the season to double our advantage, curling in exquisitely from range on 25 minutes.
Match winner on the night, it is now your Goal of the Month winner, claiming 53 per cent of the vote in a poll run across our website and official app.
The strike edged competition from Under-21s midfielder Rio Kyerematen and his strike at Dagenham in the National League Cup and Timo Werner's aforementioned opener against City (both 17 per cent).
