Yves Bissouma made it assists in back-to-back matches as Mali, having already qualified for the 2025 African Cup of Nations, secured top spot in Group I with a 6-0 win against Eswatini on Tuesday.

Picking up his 38th cap, Yves provided the assist for the second goal, scored by Red Bull Salzburg striker Nene Dorgeles, with only 17 minutes on the clock. The midfielder was replaced at half-time with his side 4-0 up at Stade du 26 Mars with El Bilal Toure (VfB Stuttgart), Dorgeles again and Kamory Doumbia (Brest) also on target. Dorgeles completed his hat-trick in the second half, with Watford's Mamadou Doumbia completing the scoring.

Yves, who also assisted against Mozambique, can now look forward to the AFCON finals staged in Morocco in December, 2025-January, 2026.
