Confirmed line-ups | Spurs vs AS Roma

Thu 28 November 2024, 18:45|Tottenham Hotspur

We can confirm the starting line-ups and substitutes for tonight’s Europa League clash against AS Roma (kick-off 8pm UK).

Ange Postecoglou has made four changes to the side from our 4-0 win at Manchester City in the Premier League last time out.

After undergoing surgery this week on a broken ankle sustained against City, Guglielmo Vicario misses out with Fraser Forster – who started our previous European outing away to Galatasaray – coming in to replace him. Vic’s absence in the goalkeeper department sees Alfie Whiteman make the bench for his first competitive involvement this term.

Rodrigo Bentancur – who missed our trip to Man City through suspension – is eligible to play in Europe as he replaces Yves Bissouma in midfield. Dejan Kulusevski moves into the midfield unit with Brennan Johnson reinstated into the front three as James Maddison makes way.

The final switch sees Archie Gray come in at left-back to continue his run of starting every Europa League fixture so far this season. Amongst our substitutes, Academy player Maeson King is involved in his first senior matchday squad, Malachi Hardy features in the Europa League for the first time whilst Callum Olusesi and Luca Williams-Barnett once again make the bench.
