George Feeney has been in action for Northern Ireland Under-17s this week as they topped their group in European Championship qualifying.
The attacker, a regular starter for our Under-18s this season following his move from Glentoran, helped his side qualify for the elite round next spring with two wins out of three in Belfast.
An unused substitute for the opening game on 29 October, a 3-1 win over Scotland, George came into the starting line-up as Northern Ireland beat Republic of Ireland by the same scoreline last Friday (1 November).
He started again in their third and final game on Monday (4 November), but while they ended up losing 3-1 to Lithuania, they’d already done enough to progress to the next stage.
George has also represented Wales at youth level during his career to date.
