A number of our players started for their respective national teams on Friday night and experienced mixed fortunes in their UEFA Euro 2025 qualifiers.

Celin Bizet earned her 20th international cap as Norway took on Italy at Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo. The forward completed 45 minutes before making way at half time as the two sides played out a goalless draw.

Goalkeeper Barbora Votíková made her 37th appearance for Czech Republic as she started and completed the full 90 minutes in their 2-1 defeat to Belgium as they continue to search for their first win in the Euro qualifying group.

Earning her 51st cap, Luana Bühler played the full 90 of Switzerland’s 2-1 win over Hungary in Bienne to maintain their unbeaten start to the Euro 2025 qualifiers.

Olga Ahtinen and Eveliina Summanen both started in midfield as Finland fell to a 1-0 defeat to Netherlands in Rotterdam, with Juventus' Lineth Beerensteyn scoring the winner. Olga completed the full 90 while Evellina played 45 minutes before being substituted at the break.

Matilda Vinberg was a second half substitute in Sweden’s 3-0 victory over Republic of Ireland at Aviva Stadium, in Dublin, as the midfielder replaced Kosovare Asllani to earn her sixth cap for her national team. Jess Naz was an unused substitute in England’s 2-1 defeat to France as she was named in the Lionesses matchday squad for the first time.

Forward Nicola Karczewska was introduced in the 69th minute for Poland as Germany came from behind to secure a 4-1 win in Rostock.

Elsewhere, Rosella Ayane earned her 31st cap as Morocco netted a late winner to record a 2-1 victory over DR Congo in an international friendly on Thursday evening.
