Grace Clinton has been named in the latest England squad ahead of UEFA EURO 2025 qualifiers games against France, Republic of Ireland and Sweden for consecutive international windows, while Jess Naz has been placed on standby in what is her first call-up to the senior team.

The midfielder, who joined us on loan from Manchester United over the summer, has enjoyed a fine season in our colours, registering seven goal involvements in 18 Barclays Women’s Super League games, and has recently been nominated for the WSL Player of the Season award.

The 21-year-old, who made her debut for the Lionesses in their impressive 7-2 win over Austria back in February and netted her first senior goal in the same game, was selected by Sarina Wiegman in her squad this morning ahead of a home clash with France on Friday 31 May before an away match against the same opponents on Tuesday 4 June.

Then, after a short break, the EURO qualifying group concludes with fixtures against Republic of Ireland on Friday 12 July and a trip to Sweden on Tuesday 16 July.

Jess was also named in the 28-player senior squad announcement for the first time and will travel with the group as a standby player for the four fixtures.

Our number seven has recorded one of her best seasons in Lilywhite, scoring six goals in all competitions, including four in the WSL, in what has been her best return in a campaign during her career so far.

In other positive news of call-ups, Becky Spencer and Drew Spence were named in Jamaica’s squad ahead of two international friendlies against Brazil at the beginning of June.

Full details of all our international call-ups will be confirmed ahead of the start of the latest women’s international window.
