Micky van de Ven has completed a clean sweep of the Club's Player of the Season awards.
Named Player of the Season by our Official Supporters' Clubs (OSC) at the annual OSC awards night at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Friday evening, Micky followed up by being named Player of the Season by both One Hotspur Members and One Hotspur Juniors.
He received those One Hotspur awards ahead of Saturday's Premier League fixture against Burnley - and celebrated by scoring a late winner in front of the adoring South Stand.
Micky, 23, joined us from Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg last summer. He made his Premier League debut on the season's opening day at Brentford and starred in our Club record-breaking unbeaten start of 10 games, winning eight, until suffering a serious hamstring injury against Chelsea on 6 November.
He returned in January and has started 29 of our 39 matches so far in 2023/24, including 25 starts in the Premier League. He's also weighed in with big goals against Luton, Forest and now Burnley.
Micky's pace has certainly caught the eye - he clocked a mind-blowing top speed of 37.38 km/h (23.22mph) in our 3-2 win over Brentford on 31 January - the highest speed by a player on record in England's top flight since records began in 2020.
