Jessica Naz has been named in the latest England Under-23’s squad for their final camp of the season.
The 23-year-old has made 25 appearances in all competitions this season, including starting in the last four games, and has been involved in four goals in the Barclays Women’s Super League, scoring once and registering three assists.
She will now link up with Emma Coates’ squad for their WU23 European League fixture against Sweden at Telford United’s New Bucks Stadium, which will take place on Thursday 4 April (6.30pm UK).
Jess becomes the fourth player to have been called-up for international duty as Grace Clinton was named in the Lionesses squad on Tuesday, while Charlotte Grant has been selected by Australia for their friendly away to Mexico on Wednesday 10 April (1am UK).
Luana Buhler has also received a call-up to the Switzerland squad as they face Turkey on Friday 5 April (6pm UK) and then Azerbaijan on Tuesday 9 April (1pm UK) in the UEFA Women’s Nations League.
