Starting and playing the full 90 minutes at the Bialystok City Stadium in Białystok, Poland, the forward doubled his nation's lead when he opened his account with a fine individual effort two minutes after the restart with Aston Villa's Tim Iroegbunam having broken the deadlock six minutes before the break.
Our Academy graduate, who spent the first half of the season on loan at Ipswich Town, doubled his tally seven minutes later as he squeezed home through a crowd of players. He then completed his treble on 71 minutes as he converted a penalty kick.
Alfie Devine, on loan at Plymouth Argyle until the end of the campaign, came on as substitute for the Young Lions, playing the final 12 minutes in eastern Poland - a period in which England's hosts reduced arrears with a goal on 80 minutes before Olympiacos' Nelson Abbey restored the four-goal advantage, adding his side's fifth with three minutes to go.
Ashley Phillips, also on loan at Plymouth until the end of the season, was an unused substitute.
