James Maddison has been named in the England squad for high-profile friendly matches against Brazil and Belgium.
Capped five times, 'Madders' has started our last six matches after returning from a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to an ankle injury sustained against Chelsea on 6 November. He's back with a bang, as well, with the crucial opening goal in our impressive 4-0 win at Villa in the Premier League on Sunday - taking him to 11 goal contributions (four goals, seven assists) in his 17 appearances so far this term.
The playmaker registered his fifth cap and second as a Spurs player with a starting role in a 1-0 win over Australia on 13 October.
Gareth Southgate's squad take on Brazil on Saturday week (23 March, 7pm UK) before an Alzheimer’s Society international against Belgium on Tuesday, 26 March (7.45pm UK). Both matches are at Wembley Stadium.
After these games, England have two more friendlies against Bosnia & Herzegovina (3 June, St James' Park, 7.45pm UK) and Iceland (7 June, Wembley Stadium, 7.45pm UK) before kicking off their Euro 2024 Finals campaign against Serbia in Germany on 16 June.
