James Maddison made his mark off the bench as England rescued a 2-2 draw against Belgium at Wembley on Tuesday evening.
Earning his sixth cap, Madders came on for Kobbie Mainoo on 74 minutes with England trailing 2-1 in the friendly. Always looking to get on the ball and involved in a lot of England's forward play in the last 20 minutes, he saved his best until his last touch with a flick with the outside of his right foot from the left byline between Belgium defenders into the path of Jude Bellingham, who tucked away from 12 yards.
"A bit of quality from Maddison, that ball... outstanding," said pundit Joe Cole on Channel 4.
Earlier, Villa's Youri Tielemans scored either side of Ivan Toney's penalty in the first half, a penalty conceded by a familiar face - Jan Vertonghen, earning his 154th cap.
