Radu Dragusin admits he already feels at home in north London after he played his first significant set of minutes in a Spurs shirt.
A January arrival from Italian outfit Genoa, the defender has had to bide his time for his opportunity on the pitch with the fine form of Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven this term but, when the latter was forced off through injury against Aston Villa on Sunday, Radu certainly took his chance.
Thrown into the fray with the second half just four minutes old at Villa Park, the Romanian more than played his part as we kept our first clean sheet on the road since December and went on to secure a statement win in Birmingham, running out 4-0 winner over our top four rivals.
Buoyed to be back on the pitch and playing in lilywhite, Radu couldn't hide delight at the result and performance come full-time, while it was also clear that his eyes are already looking ahead to more opportunities as he aims to make his mark in Premier League.
I feel very good here, I’m really happy and looking forward. We’re very happy we can win this important game and also to continue our good run.
"I’m very happy that we won today," the Romania international said at full-time at Villa Park. "It was a very important to bring the points back for our run to the end of the season. We’re very happy we can win this important game and also to continue our good run.
"I felt good, had a good rhythm and I’m looking forward to many more games. We are on our way, we want to play our football. I feel very good here. I’m really happy and looking forward. I’ve settled well, especially the people at the club, they’ve welcomed me very good and I already feel at home here."
