Cristian Romero and Giovani Lo Celso helped Argentina through to the knockout stages of the Copa America with a 1-0 win over Chile on Wednesday morning.
Defending their crown in the expanded edition of the tournament being hosted in the United States of America, Cristian started while Gio was a second-half substitute in a narrow victory over Argentina's South American neighbours.
Having tasted victory in their opening game in Group A - a 2-0 win over Canada in Atlanta, Georgia - they secured their place in the quarter-finals thanks to an 88th-minute Lautaro Martinez strike at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Cuti played the full 90 minutes for his nation, collecting his 33rd cap, while Gio was a 64th-minute substitute to earn his 54th cap.
Next up for Argentina is a trip to Florida to host Peru at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on Saturday night (29 June - 10pm kick-off UK) in their final group game.
Both players were part of La Albiceleste side which won the Copa America in 2021.
Argentine duo cheered on by Ben
And there was Spurs support for Cristian and Gio from the stands in New Jersey as Ben Davies was at the MetLife Stadium to cheer on his club team-mates.
Enjoying his summer with a trip to the States, Ben was in the crowds with the Argentina faithful to watch Cuti and Gio help their nation to the success at the Copa America.
Posting a photo of his view of the pitch on his official instagram channel, the defender also left a message of thanks to Gio.
