Player Update | Women’s first team

We can confirm the departures of Shelina Zadorsky, Ramona Petzelberger, Ellie Brazil, Ria Percival, Asmita Ale, Gracie Pearse and Nikola Karczewska following the conclusion of their contracts.

Shelina joined us in August, 2020, from Orlando Pride, initially arriving on loan before making the move permanent in January, 2021, and took the captain’s armband during the 2021/22 campaign. She went on to make 73 appearances for us, scoring two goals, while spending the second half of last term on loan at West Ham United.

A summer arrival in 2022, Ramona featured 17 times for us across two seasons, making 17 appearances this campaign, and found the back of the net on one occasion, scoring in the 3-0 win over Southampton in the FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup in January this year.

Forward Ellie joined us ahead of the 2022/23 campaign and went on to make nine appearances across two seasons.

Ria, who spent the second half of the 2023/24 campaign on loan at Crystal Palace, departs after five seasons in Lilywhite. She went on to appear on 70 occasions for us, scoring six goals in that time.

Asmita joined us from Aston Villa in August, 2021, and spent three seasons with us, making a total of 44 appearances before spending the second half of this campaign on loan at Leicester City.

Defender Gracie departs following a spell on loan at Charlton Athletic this season, the 21-year-old made five senior appearances.

Forward Nikola joined us from FC Fluery ahead of the 2022/23 campaign and featured 19 times in her first season, scoring four goals, before spending this whole term on loan at Bayer Leverkusen.
