We were proud to recently show our support for a golf day fundraiser organised by our official charity partner Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice.

Three of our legends, Ossie Ardiles, David Howells and Pat Jennings, represented the Club at the event, which was hosted at The Grove Hotel in Hertfordshire, with the trio each joining one of the participating teams.

Around £100,000 was raised for the Ark from the day, which included a charity auction that featured a bespoke Noah’s Ark t-shirt signed by our Men’s First Team as one of the prizes. The shirt was one of those worn by the team in the warm-up to May's north London derby at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Also in attendance at the golf day was Spurs fan Roscoe, whose 12-year-old twins Ray and Arthur have been supported by Noah’s Ark since they were babies.

The family were amongst those who James Maddison met with when he surprised staff and families by visiting Noah’s Ark in April. James undertook a tour of the Ark with Chief Executive Sophie Andrews OBE before meeting with children and listening to their stories and tales of courage.

“It was amazing to be at the golf day”, Roscoe said. “Noah’s Ark is very dear to me and a huge part of my life, and Tottenham is also in my DNA! I was so grateful to attend and to have had the chance to meet the legends.

“Meeting James Maddison at the Ark was really nerve-wracking but he was amazing, very down to earth, and he had so much time for each family he saw. We were so excited to meet him.”

David Howells said, “It was a fantastic day, we managed to meet some wonderful people, and all for a brilliant cause in supporting the work done by Noah’s Ark.”

Sophie Andrews OBE, CEO of Noah's Ark Children's Hospice said, “We had such a wonderful day. It was great for all our generous supporters who bought tickets to hear a personal story from a dad who spoke very movingly about the support his family receive from Noah's Ark. Our partnership with Tottenham Hotspur continues to go from strength to strength and we were delighted to have them represented on the day.”

Noah's Ark supports babies, children, and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, and their families, in north and central London - helping them to make the most of every day.
