Fri 26 July 2024, 20:52|Tottenham Hotspur

It’s time for the first of three pre-season tour matches in Asia, as we prepare to take on J League champions Vissel Kobe at Japan’s National Stadium in Tokyo on Saturday (7pm local time, 11am UK).

Here’s all you need to know ahead of the match...

How can I watch the game?

As was the case for our pre-season friendlies on UK soil against Heart of Midlothian and Queens Park Rangers last week, Saturday’s match is available to watch live on SPURSPLAY*.

If you haven’t yet signed up, find out more about how to do so here.

You can also follow all the action via our Match Centre here on tottenhamhotspur.com and the Spurs Official app, where you’ll find live text updates, images and more.

Remember, kick-off is at 7pm local time in Tokyo, which equates to 11am in the UK.

*SPURSPLAY broadcast not available in Japan.

What is the team news?

Ange Postecoglou has reported good news from Tokyo, with defender Ben Davies now back in the frame ahead of Saturday’s game following injury.

Of the players who have travelled, Richarlison and Destiny Udogie remain sidelined as they continue to work their way back to fitness.

As previously reported, Radu Dragusin won’t feature in the Japan leg of the tour following his involvement at Euro 2024.

Cristian Romero, Giovani Lo Celso, Rodrigo Bentancur and Micky van de Ven are also still away following their exploits at this summer’s international tournaments.

What colours will the teams be playing in?

Vissel Kobe play in a dark red kit, which fades downwards towards the socks to a lighter shade of red via a gradient effect.

Their goalkeeper will wear green.

We’ll be wearing our new home kit, featuring Lilywhite shirts with navy blue sleeves, navy blue shorts and white socks.

Our keeper will be in yellow.

What will the weather conditions be like?

Saturday will be another hot day in Tokyo, with thundery showers possible when we come to kick-off time. Temperatures will be at around 30 degrees.
