We are delighted to announce that Drew Spence has signed a new contract with the Club that will run until June 2026.

A summer arrival from Chelsea in 2022, the 31-year-old has showcased her wealth of experience across her two seasons at the Club and was a valuable part of Robert Vilahamn’s attacking style of play in his maiden campaign.

Having missed four months of action due to an injury picked up in November, the midfielder played an important role in the closing stages of the 2023/24 season, where we only lost once in our final seven games in the Barclays Women’s Super League, helping us to a top six finish for the second time.

In those final seven games, she also found the back of the net twice, opening her account for the season in the 2-2 draw with Everton at Walton Hall Park, before a stunning goal from distance against West Ham United in the WSL season finale at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Drew, who has won 11 major trophies in her glittering career so far, including the WSL title five times, went on to feature in 15 games in all competitions last term, including an historic appearance in the Women’s FA Cup Final as we competed at that stage of the competition for the first time in our history, taking her total to 43 appearances in Lilywhite, scoring seven times.

On the international stage, Drew competed in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand with Jamaica, helping them to reach the knockout stages for the first time. She has 17 caps for her country to date, netting two goals.
