Spurs in Japan | Ledley and Ossie's day with Japan supporters' clubs

Ledley King and Ossie Ardiles enjoyed a busy day of activities with our Official Supporters' Clubs in Tokyo on Wednesday.
Having hit the streets of the city via Street Kart in the morning, our legendary Club Ambassadors spent the rest of the day with our fans in Japan.
Here's what they got up to...
OSC Futsal/5-a-side tournament
Eight teams took part in the OSC futsal tournament at the Yoyogi National Stadium, organised by our Global Football Development (GFD) coaches, including Osaka Spurs, Kobe Spurs, Japan Spurs, Thailand Spurs, Malaysia Spurs, Indonesia Spurs and OzSpurs.
OSC junior coaching session
Organised by Osaka Spurs, Kobe Spurs and Japan Spurs and implemented by our Global coaching team, Ledley and Ossie took part in a OSC junior coaching session over 90 minutes for 100 young footballers, male and female, mixed ability, all children of members of the official Japanese Spurs Supporters Club. This was also at the Yoyogi National Stadium and the first of a number of coaching sessions led by our Global team.
Chris Acaster, our Head of Global Coaching, said: "It was a fantastic start to our time in Tokyo, coaching over 100 players from the Club's supporter club network. The passion for the badge was on display as the players were treated to an insight into the club’s technical DNA. We were impressed by the players enthusiasm, willingness to embrace the new techniques learnt and look forward to the rest of the week."
OSC legends' night
To cap a wonderful day with our fans, Ledley and Ossie were the special guests of a legends' night in the Shibuya district of Tokyo. Over 150 supporters were treated to a Q&A and signing session from two of the Club's greats. Topics on the Q&A included Ossie's time managing in Japan, the pair's favourite players over the years, favourites moments in a Spurs shirt, Ange Postecoglou's impact last season and the importance of Academy players coming through the system. The Q&A concluded with Ossie joining in a rendition of his famous song, 'Ossie's Dream' before Ossie and Ledley signed autographs for everyone.
