Fri 19 July 2024, 23:30|Tottenham Hotspur

Following swiftly on from our pre-season opener against Hearts in Scotland in midweek, we’re back on the road on Saturday afternoon as we make the trip across the capital to take on Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road (kick-off 3pm UK).

Here’s all you need to know ahead of the match...

How can I watch the game?

Once again, Saturday afternoon’s match is available to watch live on SPURSPLAY, the Club’s home of live and on-demand video content.

Find out more about how to sign up and watch here.

You can also follow all the action via our Match Centre here on tottenhamhotspur.com and the Spurs Official app, where you’ll find live text updates, images and more.

Remember, kick-off is at 3pm UK time.

What is the team news?

As was the case in Edinburgh on Wednesday, Ange Postecoglou will take a number of first team and Academy players to Loftus Road.

It remains to be seen whether Pape Matar Sarr or Ben Davies will be able to feature after Ange’s update on the duo following their absence from the Hearts game, although Richarlison and Fraser Forster remain sidelined as they work their way back following injury.

Cristian Romero, Giovani Lo Celso, Rodrigo Bentancur, Micky van de Ven, Radu Dragusin, Guglielmo Vicario and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who all featured at this summer’s international tournaments, also will not feature on Saturday as they’re yet to return to training.

Who is the referee?

Saturday’s referee will be Gavin Ward.

He’ll be assisted by Ian Cooper and Lee Venamore, with Leigh Crowhurst as the fourth official.

What colours will the teams be playing in?

Although they’re the home team, Queens Park Rangers will play in their all gold third kit on Saturday, with their keeper wearing a maroon strip.

We’ll be wearing our brand new 2024/25 away kit for the first time, which features light blue striped shirts, light blue shorts and light blue socks.

Our goalkeeper will wear orange, which is the designated third-choice keeper’s strip for the coming season.

What will the weather conditions be like?

It won’t be quite as warm as it was in London on Friday, although it’ll still be dry and bright.

There’ll be light cloud and a gentle breeze, with temperatures at around 24 degrees.
