Playing for in two major cup finals, including the 2019 Champions League Final, the defender was a core part of that team and became a fan favourite during his time in north London.

He also helped them qualify for three consecutive European Championship finals from 2016 to 2024, most recently starting in their Euro 2024 quarter-final defeat to France.
