Yang Min-Hyeok is determined to deliver his best in a Spurs shirt when he joins us in the new year.
Completing his move to the Club on Sunday (28 July) from Korean side Gangwon FC, Yang signed a deal with the Club which will run until 2030 and will link up with his new team-mates in January, 2025.
Currently midway through his first professional season in the K League, the 18-year-old will complete the campaign with Gangwon who are vying for the title in the Korean top flight and are on course to secure their best-ever finish.
Yet, while he still hopes to help the team - one that is Heung-Min Son's hometown club - achieve success, he is already dreaming of pulling on our famous Lilywhite shirt and showing Spurs fans what he can do.
Joining such a big club is an honour. I will try my best to show my best.
Speaking in his first interview with the Club, the winger said: "First of all, joining such a big club is an honour. I will try my best to show my best.
"I don’t think that I am that young. And I am chasing my dream. It is a big challenge, I believe I can show and prove my talent.
"Joining a big club like Spurs means that the Club acknowledges my abilities. I believe that if I do my best and work hard, I will automatically improve a lot.
"When I move (to London), adapting will be important. There is Sonny, this will be a big help for my adapting process since we are both Korean. Sonny is captain of Korea, I would say he had a big influence on my decision."
