Getting to Tynecastle Park
By train: Fans arriving at Edinburgh Waverley Station can either use trams or buses to get to Tynecastle Park. Those arriving at Edinburgh Haymarket can either use the local bus service or walk - the latter will take around 20-30 minutes.
Supporters are advised to use www.nationalrail.co.uk to plan their journey in advance.
By car: There is parking in the surrounding area, which is metered and chargeable. There are restrictions around the stadium in keeping with typical road closures in advance of any major event.
All accessible parking spaces are fully booked for this match.
Entering the stadium
General Admission turnstiles will open one hour before kick-off, with the visiting supporters’ section in the Roseburn Stand at the north end of the stadium. Supporters will gain entry via the McLeod Street turnstiles. There are walkways between the upper and lower tiers, as well as the concourse area.
Supporters are asked to have their ticket ready to show prior to entry as there will be ticket checks taking place ahead of the turnstiles. Supporters are advised to arrive early to avoid queues at turnstiles.
Accessibility
Accessibility supporters can use a dedicated accessible entrance where stewards will be available to assist with entry.
Accessible toilets are available in the visitors’ section. Supporters are advised to bring their own RADAR key. Supporters without their own RADAR key will be able to request one from a steward. A Changing Places facility is also available for supporters.
Access Stewards will be present in accessible viewing areas along with Tottenham Hotspur Access Stewards should any support be required.
Audio descriptive commentary is available and must be booked in advance. Should you wish to use the service, please contact access@tottenhamhotspur.com to arrange a headset.
Refreshments and cashless payments
No alcohol will be served in the visitor’s section. There are three full-sized kiosks serving food and drink that accept card payment only.
Visiting supporter pubs
There are no designated pubs in the area for visiting supporters.
Bag policy
Supporters bringing a bag should note that only those of A4 size (21x30cm) and smaller will be permitted into the stadium. There is no bag storage facility at the stadium.
Bags will be searched on entry and are subject to compliance with Heart of Midlothian’s search policy. A list of prohibited items can be found under point 12 of the Ground Regulations Policy https://www.heartsfc.co.uk/pages/policies-charters
Supporters that are on the Access Scheme and have a bag exemption certificate for home matches should bring the certificate with them. Heart of Midlothian will accept these forms on the night and will allow entry with the bag.
Spurs Respects
We are proud of our superb and loyal support at home and away.
We recognise that most supporters want to watch a football match and not listen to abusive or indecent language from the stands. Discriminatory or violent behaviour, including racist, homophobic, sexist or anti-disability shouting, chanting or actions, is unacceptable.
The Club reserves the right to indefinitely ban supporters found guilty of using discriminatory language or violent behaviour.
Reporting anti-social behaviour
To report an incident at Tynecastle Park, please notify the nearest steward or text 07467 91887 with the stand, row and seat details.
Ticket Office
Duplicate tickets must be requested by emailing ticket.office@tottenhamhotspur.com and will only be provided on production of valid photo ID.
Our Ticket Office will confirm the matchday ticket collection point with supporters when arranging duplicate ticket requests.
Flags
Flags should be no bigger that 150cm in depth or width. Anything above these measurements will be classed as a banner and will therefore require a fire certificate and need to be registered with Heart of Midlothian.
The flagpole should be no bigger than 7mm in diameter and 1 metre in length. The flagpole material should be wood or plastic and be rounded at the ends.
Flags should be presented to stewards prior to entry to the Stadium where they will be inspected and approved prior to entry.
Heart of Midlothian reserves the right to confiscate any flags brought into the Stadium without being approved prior to entry.
Flag poles may be waved prior to kick-off but must not obstruct the views of others and under no circumstances are to be waved after kick-off.
Supporters are also reminded of the Club’s own Flags and Banners Policy which is in effect at away matches.
Surfer flags & banners
Materials measuring more that 150cm x 150cm will be considered as banners.
All banners and surfer flags should be made from fire-retardant material and a fire certificate must be produced. Proof of certification may be required whenever they are bought into the Stadium.
On occasion, where a Club designated sterile area (e.g. empty block of seats) is available within the Stadium, it may be possible for banners to be placed in the sterile area. Permission to do so must first be obtained from Heart of Midlothian in advance via email to supporterservices@homplc.co.uk or, in circumstances where this is not possible, through a senior steward prior to entry on a matchday.
Banners will not be allowed where they may block advertising, signage, exit routes, restrict the views of other supporters or in any way compromise the safe operation of the Stadium.
It is the responsibility of supporters who bring banners and surfer flags into the Stadium to ensure they are securely fastened at all times. Heart of Midlothian reserves the right to remove any articles that have not been appropriately secured or become loose during a match.
The use of surfer flags or surfer-style banners designed to be passed over supporters’ heads will not be allowed after kick-off.
Any surfer flags or banners brought to the Stadium without being approved by Heart of Midlothian will be confiscated.
Heart of Midlothian reserves the right to change this policy as it deems fit or as required by the local authority, Football Licensing Authority or any other body that helps to determine the safety of spectators at the Tynecastle Stadium.
Heart of Midlothian accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur at any time.
Unauthorised use of tickets
Supporters are reminded that the unauthorised reselling or passing on of tickets is strictly prohibited. In line with the Club's Sanctions & Banning Policy, supporters found to have purchased tickets and subsequently sold or passed them on to other supporters, or offered for sale, will be subject to sanctions.
Supporters unable to attend
Supporters unable to attend the match should contact the Ticket Office as soon as possible. The Club will make best endeavours to reallocate tickets to other eligible supporters and issue refunds upon receipt of original tickets.
