Ange Postecoglou has named his first starting XI of pre-season as we prepare to take on Heart of Midlothian in Edinburgh this evening (7pm UK).
New signing Archie Gray comes straight into the team and is expected to start in the back four, with many of our central defensive regulars still away after their exploits at their summer’s international tournaments.
There’s a welcome return to action for Manor Solomon, who starts after missing the bulk of last season with a knee injury, while Academy product Jamie Donley makes his first senior start.
There’s another new face among 16 substitutes on the bench, with Lucas Bergvall involved in a matchday squad for us for the first time, having recently linked up with us following his signing last summer.
A number of regulars from last season’s title-winning Under-21s squad are also on the bench.
Here’s our full starting XI and substitutes at Tynecastle Park...
