We are delighted to introduce the 13 young players who have this week formally joined our Under-18s as full-time, first-year scholars.
In attack, we welcome George Feeney, who has joined our Academy from Glentoran in Northern Ireland, where he made 10 appearances for their first team last season.
Fellow forward Reiss Elliott-Parris is in the group along with wingers Miracle Adewole, Leon Myrtaj and Tynan Thompson.
In midfield, we welcome Harry Byrne, Tye Hall, Ronny Moncur and Jamel Beggs, while Samal Bangura, Malachi Hardy and Elijah Upson join the defensive ranks.
Goalkeeper Dylan Thompson, who joined our Academy earlier this year from Norwich City, completes this season’s intake.
Five of these players have already made appearances for us in the Under-18 Premier League as part of their schoolboy journeys up to this point.
“We’re really excited to work with the new scholarship intake,” said Under-18s Coach Stuart Lewis. “It’s a very proud moment for the players as individuals and for their families, who have played pivotal roles in their journeys so far.
“Becoming a full-time scholar at Tottenham Hotspur represents an unbelievable achievement – now we get down to work as we approach the start of the new season. As a team of staff, we look forward to working with and developing the players individually and collectively as we support their scholarship years at the Club.”
