Guglielmo Vicario has once again been shortlisted for the Premier League's Save of the Month award.
Named in the December nominations for the prize, it is the fifth time in five months Guglielmo has been recognised by the top flight having received a nomination for August, September, October, November and now December.
His latest nomination is for his breathtaking save to deny Brighton's Danny Welbeck and almost certain goal.
As we came under pressure in the early stages of our clash with the Seagulls on the south coast, Vic showed incredible reactions on five minutes as he sprung up quickly to palm away Welbeck's well-directed effort.
Watch - Vicario incredibly denies Welbeck
Only three goalkeepers have earned more nominations than our number 13 for the award since its inauguration at the start of the 2022/23 campaign with Liverpool's Alisson Becker being nominated on eight occasions while Everton's Jordan Pickford and former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea have been shortlisted six times. Guglielmo, of course, didn't join us a year after the prize came into existence.
He is one of just two goalkeepers now to have been nominated for the award in five consecutive months - the other being the aforementioned Alisson who, like Vic, has been on the shortlist for each edition of the award this campaign.
The duo go up against each other once again for December's crown with competition coming from Sheffield United's Wes Foderingham, Crystal Palace's Dean Henderson, Everton's Jordan Pickford and Chelsea's Đjorđje Petrović.
As usual, you can help Vic to claim the Save of the Month prize by voting for the goalkeeper via the link below. Voting is now open and will close at 12noon on Monday 8 January.
