Japhet Tanganga made his first competitive appearance in nine months as he made his debut for loan side Millwall on Saturday afternoon.
Having joined the Lions on loan on Thursday (18 January), the defender was thrust straight into their matchday squad for their Championship trip to QPR and went on to play his first league game since being a late substitute in our 2-2 Premier League draw with Manchester United in April, 2023.
Starting the game on the bench, Japhet was brought on by manager Joe Edwards - who coached our number 25 at youth level for England - for the final 22 minutes of the clash.
Coming on with his side 1-0 down, it finished as a 2-0 defeat for the south London outfit.
Japhet could next be in action on Saturday (27 January) with Millwall entertaining Preston North End at The Den in the Championship.
