A look back at Eric Dier's best Spurs moments

As we say farewell to Eric Dier upon his move to Bayern Munich, we take a look back at his Spurs career in pictures.

Signed from Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 2014, Eric went on to make 365 appearances, scoring 13 goals, for us in all competitions during his nine-and-a-half years at the Club which places him in our all-time top 25.

Arriving as a 20-year-old, the defender enjoyed a memorable start to life in Lilywhite with a stoppage-time winner on debut in the Premier League season opener at West Ham United. He then scored in consecutive games with our second in a 4-0 win over Queens Park Rangers at White Hart Lane, going on to make 36 appearances in total in his maiden campaign.

Taking no time to establish himself as a first team regular, our number 15 showed his reliability and versatility the following season by playing all but one top-flight league fixture in central midfield as we qualified for the UEFA Champions League and competed for the league title in 2015/16.

A staple of the squad throughout his time at the Club, Eric has been a key member of teams that qualified for the Champions League five times, including a Club best second place in the Premier League with a record points tally in 2016/17, and three cup finals, most notably the Champions League Final in 2019.

During his time in north London, the England international earned 49 caps and represented the Three Lions at Euro 2016 and the 2018 and 2022 World Cups. He also stepped up to captain Spurs and England on occasion, leading out his nation against Belgium at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

As our former longest-serving player in our current first team squad departs, check out some of Eric's Spurs memories...
