We can confirm the starting line-ups and substitutes for our first Premier League outing of 2024 away to Manchester United (Sunday 14 January, 4.30pm UK).
Ange Postecoglou has made four changes to the side that started against Burnley in the FA Cup, with a massive defensive boost as the centre-back pairing of Cristian Romero, who captains the side, and Micky van de Ven both returning to start together for the first time since early November.
There’s also a debut for January signing Timo Werner, replacing Dejan Kulusevksi who isn’t involved this afternoon, with our other new addition Radu Dragusin named amongst the substitutes.
In midfield, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is a straight swap for Giovani Lo Celso, who misses out through injury, and young winger Yago Santiago is back on the bench.
Here is our full line-up…
Starting XI: Vicario; Pedro Porro, Romero (c), van de Ven, Udogie; Hojbjerg, Bentancur, Skipp; Johnson, Richarlison, Werner.
Substitutes: Forster, Austin, Royal, Dragusin, Dorrington, Bryan, Santiago, Donley.
