Ange’s injury update on Ben Davies after FA Cup win against Burnley

Ange Postecoglou reported that Ben Davies suffered a hamstring injury late in our 1-0 win against Burnley in the third round of the FA Cup on Friday night.
The tie was deep into injury time at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium when the centre-back appeared to be limping. We’d made our five substitutions by then, and Ben stayed on until the end as Pedro Porro’s stunning goal saw us into the fourth round.
Speaking on our Review Show, Ange told us: “Unfortunately, it looks like Ben’s done his hamstring tonight, which is another blow for us because those two (Ben and Emerson Royal) have been real warriors for us in the last few weeks.”
Asked in his post-match press conference if we’d picked up any further injuries, Ange confirmed: “Yeah, Ben Davies looks like he's done his hamstring. So, it looks like he will be out and Gio Lo Celso has a bit of tightness, but hoping it is nothing serious.”
Positive news saw the return of Ryan Sessegnon off the bench in the second half – his first appearance since February last year - while Micky van de Ven was back in the matchday squad after his hamstring injury.
