Ange Postecoglou has revealed that Pape Matar Sarr is in contention for Saturday's Premier League trip to Everton.
After arriving back in England in the week after Senegal's defence of their Africa Cup of Nations crown came to an end via a penalty shootout loss to hosts Ivory Coast on Monday, our previous fixture against Brentford came too soon but Ange has today (Friday 2 February) confirmed he will be assessed ahead of our lunchtime kick-off at Goodison Park.
Our Head Coach has also reported no fresh injury concerns from our 3-2 win over the Bees on Wednesday night, with Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon still unavailable with the pair continuing their recoveries at Hotspur Way.
"We'll see how it goes," Ange said on Pape in his pre-match chat with SPURSPLAY.
"He's had a long trip back so we'll see how he holds up in training and make a decision around him. Everyone else got through the game ok, we're the same as Wednesday night."
